 FIRST IMPRESSIONS. ▓ VISUAL Tall (6'2"), lanky, yet more muscular than he appears. Almost never seen without scruff (who has time for shaving). Unusually large ears. The prettiest blue eyes you'll ever see.
He also has a nasty wound on his right side, which is where his synthetic charging port is (it's mostly just wires he can use to interface with other ports — e.g. outlets, USB drives, etc. — given he has the right adapters). It's usually covered by a bandage (it needs to be cleaned regularly like any open wound), and he's rarely seen without his shirt around anyone for this reason. ▓ FASHION Hobo Aesthetic™ — he's been homeless for most of his life (since around the age of 13 or 14), so he generally wears whatever he can find (and doesn't often get new clothes), which usually includes jeans, a pair of boots he's probably had for ten years, and an old jacket he almost never leaves behind. ▓ DEMEANOR He slouches 90% of the time, even when he's standing, and he has a bad case of The Grumps. He doesn't like (non-synthetic) people and is usually pretty standoffish around most folks. He tends to keep to himself and shows very little interest in making friends, though he does have a sarcastic sense of humor. He's generally lost faith in humanity, but some people are capable of restoring a little bit of that faith. ▓ SOUND British (London accent), somewhat gravelly. ▓ SCENT He uses generic soap and shampoo, whatever he can find for free, though he doesn't always have regular access to a shower. He spends a lot of time outside (and in the woods), so he probably smells like your average Sweaty Boy unless he's showered recently. ▓ MENTAL INFORMATION Leo's brain is part synthetic, so it's more likely any telepath will get images (snippets of memories, traumatic or otherwise; all his memories are digital, and he can't forget any of them) rather than thoughts, and if they are able to garner thoughts, they will probably be somewhat incoherent. It would essentially be like trying to read a computer's mind. Also, because he isn't entirely human, he gives off a unique electromagnetic frequency. A telepath may or may not be able to notice this about him, but androids or other synthetic humanoids certainly would. OUT OF CHARACTER. ▓ BACKTAGGING Yes! I'm generally pretty slow, so backtagging is my way of life. ▓ FOURTHWALLING It probably won't come up, but I'm not averse to it. Leo doesn't keep up with much pop culture, so he wouldn't be likely to break the fourth wall on my end, either. ▓ PHYSICAL AFFECTION I love writing physical intimacy! Leo might be difficult, but I want to be able to get him to a place where he isn't. ▓ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE I'm okay with most forms of violence, though Leo is generally pacifistic and is unlikely to get violent with anyone else. He has been known to get into dangerous situations where violence might occur (he's been beaten up once or twice), so he doesn't necessarily shy away from it, he just doesn't condone violence himself. (This became more of a grey area in Season 2 while he was being manipulated by a violent synth, but he's since realized that violence does not solve matters or make them better.) ▓ RELATIONSHIPS I'm always down for shipping, however Leo is coming from a point where he's just been deeply betrayed by (after being emotionally manipulated by) someone he thought he cared about. He won't exactly be looking for anything romantic at the moment, but it could be a future possibility. IN CHARACTER. ▓ HUGGING Probably not, unless he trusts you (which he probably won't, without significant CR). He's generally uncomfortable with touch of any kind unless he considers you family or a very close friend. ▓ KISSING See above. ▓ FLIRTING You can try, but he likely won't take very well to it. ▓ FIGHTING Let's talk about it first. ▓ INJURING Let's talk about it first. ▓ KILLING Not at this time. ▓ TELEPATHY See MENTAL INFORMATION above. ▓ WARNINGS Leo has PTSD from a childhood trauma in which he drowned (but was brought back to life by his father using synthetic technology), abandonment issues re: both of his parents' suicides, survivor's guilt re: the synths that he hasn't been able to save (he largely feels like it's his always fault, since he believes them to be His Responsibility, even when circumstances were out of his control), and is generally not emotionally or mentally stable 100% of the time though he tries his best to always keep his brave face on and has learned to be surprisingly calm under pressure (which, for him, is always). |
